ReplyDeleteHi Karen .. book reviews for when you get to read them (if you want to write them) ... Pinterest - nope haven't jumped on the band wagon and there's the copyright issue re photos etc ..
ReplyDeleteGrammar is a nightmare sometimes - I simply don't understand it - yet it seems to be embedded in me (usually!!)
Have the most fantastic break and enjoy meeting up with family and friends .. cheers Hilary
Hi Karen,

Alex,
I am sure I can find a minute or two to hop over. :) Thanks a bunch!
Hilary,
I know, have heard about the copyright thing with Pinterest. Not sure how it all works. Thanks so much!
Donna,
You are welcome. Hope you have a grand time with family as well!
Susan,
Glad to share them all. :) Hope your time with family is sweet!
Sarah,
You are welcome. :) Thanks so much!
Happy Thanksgiving,
Karen
I started a pinterest board, but then all that scary stuff came out about people being taken to court for posting pictures without permissions and now I'm gun shy about the whole pinterest thing. I love it though and sad to not be able to use it much any more.
ReplyDeleteI've had Pininterest on my 'to do' list for awhile. It does look like fun but am wary now after reading Angela's message. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAngela,
ReplyDeleteI signed up for it but haven't done anything with it yet. And then there was the picture thing, like you said, and I'm gun shy too! Oh well. :)
Lynn,
It makes me wonder too. My daughter and daughter in law use it, so I should ask them about the ins and outs of it.
Happy writing,
Karen
Thanks for the links, Karen. If I find a book that looks interesting, I will stop by the review page and check it out, just to see.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Ooh, going to read that book review one...thanks Karen!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy your break, Karen.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful break, my friend! You're my go-to person for resources, that's for sure.
ReplyDelete:)
I do purchase books as the result of a book review. I find them helpful. On the other hand, I may decide to not purchase a book b/c of the review. I find them helpful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thanksgiving!
Enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links.
Joylene,
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I check out the reviews sometimes too. It depends on what I know about the book, too.
Lydia,
It was an interesting read. Hope you like it! :)
Jennifer,
You are welcome! Happy Thanksgiving!
Rachna,

Rhonda,

Thanks for the links! New follower here. Thanks for the comment on my A-Z interview.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Pinterest yet. There's the copyright issues, but I also don't tend to use pictures much with my writing. I have a strong image of things in my head already. I haven't looked into it in detail though, so I might try it at some point!
I didn't know that they reviewed older books. That's good to know. I enjoy reading reviews and have purchased books because of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Karen.

Hi, Karen:
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a delicious Thanksgiving! To answer two of your questions, I will buy a book based on a review, but that review must come from a friend whose likes are similar to mine. A rave review from said friend can sway me to buy the book each time.
As for Pinterest, nope, haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet. I see it in my future, though!
Going to check out your other links now, especially the one on Pen and Prosper.
Hope you are doing great.
Excellent links. Hope you have a nice break!
ReplyDeleteJanette,
