Karen: Just this finished "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder. A friend passed a book on to me, "The Thrill of the Hunt", by Tamela Hancock Murray. It's a Christian Romance. It looks like she has written at least three others.
I'm reading "Cleopatra's Moon," an outstanding YA novel by Vicky Alvear Shecter, and on my Kindle I've got James Scott Bell's "Plot and Structure." I'd be so lost without my books!
I'm old enough to remember when Groucho said this, LOL. I'm still reading "One Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp, and I've just started reading a free e-book that my friend Renae Brumbaugh is offering on her FB page, "Filling Up My Lap."
I love the quote. I am actually re-reading a Richard North Patterson legal thriller because it has been years since I read it and the writer's craft "how to" book I am reading is using the author as an example of a good way to fit in necessary backstory.
