Is it spring yet?
It may not feel like spring is here, but take heart, it will show up eventually. I must admit, I prefer cooler weather and even I am weary of the extra frosty temps and cloudy skies. While it still may be cold outside (depending on where you live), we can create some warm and wonderful writing inside.
What? That little pep talk isn't inspiring you to crank out something fabulous? Okay, then check out Hope Clark's recent post. In
Don't Hunt For It...Create Your Market Hope shares an interesting idea for generating writing opportunities that may be right under your nose. It gave me several ideas; perhaps it will inspire you too.
Another Springtime Giveaway
How about another Blogoversary giveaway to brighten the day? In case you happened to miss last week's announcement, I am celebrating my One Year Blog Anniversary this month and I am including several giveaways to celebrate.
Emmaline Bradford is nervous. Why? She came to the states to marry her fiance Geoffrey Garrett. Problem is, they were betrothed several years earlier when Geoffrey left England to start a ranch in Kansas. Emmaline was a starry eyed teen at the time and now has few memories of Geoffrey.
A series of interesting situations arise when Emmaline arrives at her new prairie home. Will things work out or will Emmaline return to England? Enter the giveaway and you can find out!

Hi Karen, I kind of like cooler weather too. Not cold, but seventies are good for me. :-)
ReplyDelete(I'm in Florida, so that's cool here, lol)
I'll have to check out that link. Sounds interesting! I'd love to be entered for the book too.

I'm definitely thinking of spring! The sunshine and warmer temps of the past few days have given me spring fever, although here in central Michigan, spring won't really arrive until May! :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book!
Jessica,
ReplyDeleteYes, 70's are about tops for me in the comfort zone. This could be why I don't live in FL:) Added your name to the list! Thanks for stopping in:)
Blessings,
Karen
Jody,
ReplyDeleteI forgot that you lived in Michigan. My sister lives there, a bit out from Detroit, so I know what you are saying. Thankfully spring comes eventually almost everywhere:)
Blessings,
Karen
Hello Karen, just a little hello from a still cold England, Spring is on the way but only in my head at the moment!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic week! Take care
Big hug (((♥)))

Hello Raymonde! Wish we could share a cup of tea. Wouldn't that be fun? Thanks for coming by:) Stay warm! Blessings for your week as well,
ReplyDeleteKaren
I am waiting for Spring and hot weather. Love it. I'd rather sweat than freeze. :O)
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteAnd I am the opposite! I'd rather be a bit chilly and add layers than sweat like crazy. But I do prefer the middle ground, somewhere in the upper 50's to low 60's. Guess why that's why I prefer spring and fall.
Blessings to you!
Karen
Thanks so much, Karen. Hope's blog looks very interesting, indeed. Have a super day! Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
